What we actually find in Hucknall
Pit-town terraces and Harrier Park homes
Hucknall's older streets are Victorian red-brick terrace from its mining years, with interwar housing and large post-war council-built estates spreading out from the centre. Solid walls, small yards, external pipe runs — familiar territory. What's changing the town is the old aerodrome. Harrier Park is being developed on it, with several hundred new homes planned alongside employment space, a school and a care home, and further growth allocated at Top Wighay. That's producing a substantial modern segment: cavity walls, high airtightness, and systems specified at build. Airtight houses are efficient but they punish poor maintenance — a partially blocked filter or a slow condensate drain shows up as a comfort complaint much faster than it would in a draughty terrace. Trade in Hucknall is a compact high street and Market Place, currently the subject of town-centre regeneration funding. Refrigerant work must be done by an F-Gas certified engineer — it's illegal to buy refrigerant or attempt this yourself.
R22 systems (pre-2010) can't legally be recharged — virgin R22 is banned. We'll advise on reclaimed-gas repair, conversion, or replacement.

What's the difference between a single-split and multi-split system? +
A single-split has one indoor unit connected to one outdoor unit. A multi-split connects several indoor units to one outdoor unit, so it cools multiple rooms. Multi-splits take longer to service because every indoor unit is checked and cleaned — which is why they're priced a little higher.
Do you service all makes and models? +
Yes. We are approved service & installation partners for Daikin, Mitsubishi, Fujitsu, Samsung, Hisense, Midea and Bosch, and our F-Gas registered engineers also service all other major brands — Panasonic, LG, Toshiba and more — whether or not we installed the system originally.
