What we actually find in Bradford
Sandstone terraces and surviving back-to-backs
A large share of Bradford's housing predates 1919 and was built from sandstone quarried nearby: solid walls, no damp-proof course, and foundations dug into hillsides that fall away sharply behind the property. Back-to-backs went up across the district through the middle of the 19th century and, unlike most cities, plenty are still lived in, with no rear elevation, no yard and no obvious place for an outdoor unit at all. Refrigerant work must be done by an F-Gas certified engineer — it's illegal to buy refrigerant or attempt this yourself.
R22 systems (pre-2010) can't legally be recharged — virgin R22 is banned. We'll advise on reclaimed-gas repair, conversion, or replacement.

That is a genuine Bradford problem rather than an excuse. With no rear elevation, the realistic positions are the front, a gable if the property has one, a flat roof over a bay or outrigger, or a ground-level spot in a shared yard. Each carries consequences. Front and gable positions are the ones most likely to need planning input in a conservation area, roof positions need the structure checked and safe access arranged for future visits, and shared yards raise noise and access questions with neighbours. We would usually rather work out how an existing unit can be serviced safely than move it and create three new problems.

A multi-split service is £164 + VAT (£196.80 including VAT), which covers up to 2 indoor units. Each additional indoor unit is £45 + VAT (£54 including VAT). We'll confirm the exact total based on how many indoor units your system has before any work begins.
What's the difference between a single-split and multi-split system? +
A single-split has one indoor unit connected to one outdoor unit. A multi-split connects several indoor units to one outdoor unit, so it cools multiple rooms. Multi-splits take longer to service because every indoor unit is checked and cleaned — which is why they're priced a little higher.
Do you service all makes and models? +
Yes. We are approved service & installation partners for Daikin, Mitsubishi, Fujitsu, Samsung, Hisense, Midea and Bosch, and our F-Gas registered engineers also service all other major brands — Panasonic, LG, Toshiba and more — whether or not we installed the system originally.
